Would you like to read a book like this?

I read a book a couple of years ago - - - so many that I can't remember which - - - that had two chapters for each "event", one from one character's point of view followed by the other character's point of view. Sometimes one or the other of them weren't "on scene", and it would be the character's reaction to the gossip or news about the event. It was annoying at first. But when I realized the author was doing, it was quite interesting. No one responds the same way. So yes, I like that sort of thing.
