How did Ajax die? (greek mythology)?

This Great hero was known best for his bravery and strength, however he was also famous for his stupidity. Ajax stabbed himself with a spear after killing a flock of sheep. He was already insane because Athena made him. He thought the sheep were soldiers led by Odysseus (whom he hated) . Hector gave him the spear (I love Hector so I felt this was worth mentioning).
