Is it necessary to know Adobe Flash to be a Web Designer?

I know Dreamweaver/Photoshop/Fireworks/Basic Flash & obviously Html and CSS. Currently learning PHP, Ajax, MYSQL, Javascript. Are you able to get employed with this knowledge + a portfolio or is it fundamental that I learn flash? Personally i'm not too keen on flash and would rather direct my learning elsewhere. Can anyone offer sound advice whether this makes sense?
