Outfit ideas for sumertime for an "indie-ish" style?

Hey guys, so basically I love how I dress in winter. I wear a lot of layers and long jeans and Toms and such, and my style's pretty rad, from my perspective. But when it's summer, I'm lost. I live in a place where summer is ridiculously hot, so I can't keep up wearing jeans and tights and all of the things I love. I don't want to sound poser-ish, but in reality my style is a bit "indie-ish" and unique. I don't want to give up my style, or expose too much of my body in summer, and I want to be able to keep bits of my style. Any pictures and/or ideas? Thank-you everyone!! :) xx
